How long will this course take to complete?

Although this course is a mandatory 14 hours, individually times may vary.
If you like your progress, and we are sure you will, then continue, if not contact us anytime.

Do you submit my completion to the DBPR?

Yes, of course, we submit your completion to the DBPR within 24 hours of course completion. Although it may take the DBPR up to 48 hours to process. Also, it is mandatory for us as an approved provider to submit your education timely.

Can I stop and start anytime and save my progress?

Yes, definitely. Your course progress will be saved anytime you log out from the course. This course is at your pace, so take as little or as long as you like to complete. Also, if run into any issues, we can easily advanced your progress as well.

Is there a final test to pass?

No, there are only easily answered knowledge checks as you progress through the course. You are guaranteed to PASS!

What licenses are covered by the 14 hour course?

All licenses under the CILB are covered. This course satisfies all requirements for any license. This includes. Why has my license expiration date not updated?

You need to renew your license for the expiration date to update.
Your license renewal involves two steps.
1. Complete your 14 hour continuing education and,
2. Renew you license with the DBPR.
This can be done quickly online under your myfloridalicense.com account or over phone at 850-487-1395.
(Renewal only opens 90 days prior to license expiration, so June 1st of current expiration year)

How can I verify your course is approved by the ECLB?

We are an ECLB approved provider #0006721 with our approved courses #802593 and #802591. You can verify a few different ways. Easiest is from the myfloridalicense.com Electrical Contractors page, under CE Requirements, select “Continuing Education” under Education Course Lists. You may also use the following link to DBPR find CE.

What licenses are covered by the 11 hour course?

All licenses under the ECLB are covered. This course satisfies all requirements for any license. This includes Certified Electrical Contractor (EC), Certified Alarm System Contractor (EF), Certified Alarm System Contractor II (EG), Certified Specialty Electrical Contractor (ES), Registered Electrical Contractor (ER), Registered Alarm System Contractor I (EY,EH), Registered Alarm System Contractor II (EZ,EI), Registered Specialty Electrical Contractor (ET), Registered Residential Alarm System Contractor (EJ).

What licenses are covered by the 7 hour course?

All licenses under the ECLB are covered except Certified Electrical Contractor (EC) and Registered Electrical Contractor (ER).
This includes Certified Alarm System Contractor (EF), Certified Alarm System Contractor II (EG), Certified Specialty Electrical Contractor (ES), Registered Alarm System Contractor I (EY,EH), Registered Alarm System Contractor II (EZ,EI), Registered Specialty Electrical Contractor (ET), Registered Residential Alarm System Contractor (EJ).

Is a certificate of completion awarded?

Yes, a certificate of completion is awarded immediately at the completion of the course. This certificate is for your record. We electronically submit your completion to the DBPR.

Can I take this course on my phone?

Yes, our courses are mobile compatible. You can finish your continuing education using your phone, tablet, or computer.

Do you renew my Florida license for me?

No, completing your continuing education credits does not complete the renewal of your license. Once you have completed all of your required continuing education, you must pay the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board the license renewal fees in order to renew your license.

What is the refund policy?

If you are unsatisfied with our course you may request a refund anytime while taking the course. Refunds are issued with one exception. No refunds after course completion.
